Welcome to RunDisney Mom! My name is Stacy Cacciatore and I am a Disney Parks Moms Panelist, an RRCA certified running coach, mom of two awesome kiddos and Ph.D candidate in the Rhetorics, Communications and Information Design Program at Clemson University. I’ve designed the RunDisneyMom website to provide mothers who run with tips and information that help you be the best you can be with a body-positivity focus.

What you will NOT find here:

  • Weight loss tips
  • “Get awesome abs” or “butt” or any other objectified body part
  • “Thinspiration”

What you WILL find:

  • Body positive language and imagery
  • Tips on running Disney races
  • How to be the best you can be, at any fitness level or “body”

I know I’m going against the trend here because you are not going to find what you find on other fitness websites and magazines and if that’s not your jam, that’s OK! There are lots of other fitness websites that will give you tips on losing weight, getting a six pack or adhering to the latest diet craze (Keto, Cleanses, Fasting). What I want to focus on here is that you DON’T have to “look” a certain way to be a runner. If you run…you are a runner. It’s not about speed or body type.
