Welcome to week six of the 2,018 miles in 2018 Challenge!
We are in the 2nd week of February and I’m getting so excited for the Disney Princess Glass Slipper Challenge that is coming up in only 12 days!
And my birthday is in only 10 days!! This is a big one and I’ve been struggling internally with this milestone. I feel OLD! It is so weird how I still feel like a teenager on the insider, but am a middle aged woman on the outside. They say you are only as old as you feel, and I feel great, so I guess that should be all that matters. Although I wish my wrinkles and underage bags would stay the age I feel and not my chronological age, but I digress…
I felt great this week and got in a lot of miles. I was feeling strong and had a lot of energy. I made some tweaks to my diet, so this might be why. I had protein packed smoothie bowls almost every morning and spinach salads for lunch. I always underestimate the impact my diet has on my running.
