Disney World offers an abundance of jogging trails and fitness facilities that help guests stay fit while visiting the most magical place on earth. Whether you are looking to log a few miles a day to stay in shape or keeping up with a marathon plan, Disney has plenty of running options.
Here are my top four favorite jogging trails at Disney:
1. Coronado Springs has a one-mile jogging trail around the beautiful Lago Dorado “Golden Lake”. Not only is the view beautiful (the picture on this post is of the sun rising over the lake,) but the 1 mile distance makes tracking your mileage a no-brainer.
2. Jog around the Seven Seas Lagoon starting from either the Grand Floridian or Polynesian Resort for a beautiful view of both of these luxurious resorts. This jogging trail connects Grand Floridan and Polynesian. After your run make sure to get a massage at the state-of-the-art spa at Grand Floridian.
3. Fort Wilderness is known for its plethora of recreation opportunities, so it should come as no surprise that they offer an exercise trail for running, walking or biking. Fort Wilderness even offers bike rentals on site!
4. Take a jog around the 1.4 mile jogging trail surrounding Barefoot Bay at the Caribbean Beach resort and then hop into one of the six heated pools on site!
After your done running, you can indulge in these delicious (and low-calorie) Mickey Mouse cupcakes. Yum-o!
