A few things in this box were super cool.
I upgraded my subscription recently so I could choose my colors and customize the items I receive. After several brown scarves and disappointing alternate choices, I decided that the upgraded account was the way to go.
So the first item I pulled out of the box was the Ayesha Curry ceramic mug, which is worth $16. As a VIP member, I was not given the option to choose my color ahead of time, but my daughter loves aqua, so I’m cool with the color. However, the last thing I need is another coffee mug. Like seriously. I just bought like four from Walt Disney World last month (they have NEW We Are Here mugs at Starbucks). It is pretty though.
The second item was a pair of cozy socks by Ponte Studio. These aloe infused socks are worth $19 and I LOVE them. I really love cabin socks. They are so cozy on a cold day. And these are infused with aloe to soften your feet. But I would not pay $19 for them. My daughter actually stole them from me…hmmm…where are they? I’m going to go look for these when I’m done with this blog post!
My favorite item was the pink FabFitFun TV Fitness Ball with Jillian Michaels videos. The value is $16 and I would pay that for this ball. First of all, I LOVE the color. Secondly, I can use this ball for pilates or a variety of toning and ab moves. I used it the first day and tried to follow along with the Jillian Michaels video. The workout was a bit slow, so I ended up doing my own thing, but love the ball. My daughter loves it too and we had a blast tossing it back and forth.
The next item was an anti-wrinkle and energizing eye mask, made by Grace & Stella. This box came with 12! What a great deal! I always love a good beauty product, especially one that promises to get rid of wrinkles.
I was SO excited to get the BB Dakota poncho (retail value $70), but I’m actually disappointed. I DID pick my color ahead of time, but somehow I didn’t realize it would be this brown. I saw the color online and thought I’d love the “red” for Christmas, but this doesn’t look red at all in person. It’s more of a rust color. I totally should have picked black and grey! 🙁
My daughter chose this choker by nine lives ahead of time (value $58) because at the age of 11, she has informed me that both chokers and rose gold are in style. I’m not a fan of chokers, so this one is all her, although I’m not sure why an 11-year old needs a $58 necklace. I’ve bought her cheap ones from Claries and she either breaks them within 24 hours or loses them.
I like the Ahava mineral hand cream. I always love a good hand cream in the winter because my skin is so dry. Ahava is a great brand and I’ve always liked their products.
The Kate Somerville ExfoliKate is amazeballs! I LOVE Kate Somerville products and her exfoliator is the best! I fell in love with this product a few years ago. It really does wonders.
I also received the deep sleep pillow spray by This Works. I can’t wait to use this because I really love things that smell good while I’m sleeping. I use an oil diffuser every night and the soothing scents help me drift off to sleep.
The last item was Doucce Cosmetics Face Palette. The value is $70. I haven’t heard of this brand before, but I’ll give it a try.
Did you receive the Winter Box for Fab, Fit, Fun? What did you think? I’d love to hear from you!
