The two resorts are different, but yet luxurious and wonderful in their own unique way. Grand Floridian is elegant, luxurious and lavish. This Victorian style resort oozes sophisticated elegance, from the live orchestra in the lobby to the golden chandeliers to the exquisite restaurant on property.
The Polynesian Village Resort makes you feel like you are in Hawaii. Between the koi ponds, tropical palm trees and tiki torch lined pool, you will truly relax here.
The jogging trail connects these two beautiful resorts and you can run the one-mile pathway along the Seven Seas Lagoon. You will have views of the Magic Kingdom and Cinderella Castle along your route. When I ran here, I loved to peek in the window at the Wedding Pavillon and see the displays of wedding gowns, cakes and beautiful china. I told my husband if we renew our vows, it needs to be at Walt Disney World!
Check out the jogging trail between Grand Floridian and Polynesian. But don’t feel that you need to stay on the trail…you can jog alongside the beach, explore the pools and take a sneak peek in the wedding shop. You may even want to treat yourself to a Dole Whip from Polynesian when you are done.
Have you ever run the trail at Grand Floridian and Polynesian? What did you think?
